About The Pink Cottage
The Pink Cottage Spa of Jensen is located in the heart of historic downtown Jensen beach. The spa is at home in what used to be someone's actual home decades ago. The house was originally located on the corner of Denver ave and Osceola street in Stuart, built around 1920 by Sam Matthews who is well known for his many buildings in the Stuart and Sewall's Point neighborhood. The building was then moved to Jensen Beach in the late 80's by Frank Wacha Jr. (Owner of the Kona beach Cafe on Pineapple ave.) as another picturesque addition to the evolving Downtown area. Today the building sits on Maple Ave, surrounded by other structures from the 19th century, for example, right across the way there is another incredible piece of history, a small site that was part of Camp Murphy, one of the military bases during War World II.
